October delights and more...

This past October marked the point of some happy happenings...

*Baby Lincoln Christopher Knight was born to the lovely Kym and Chris Knight on October 1, 2008.

*Sterling Celebrated his second Halloween in a classy costume representing A Chinese Ambassador for the Olympics.

It has been so fun seeing Sterling love Lincoln so much! Everytime he sees Lincoln he wants to kiss him, hold his cheeks, give him hug, and smother him with love. I hope to see this much love in March with Gwyneth.

One Girly Wirly on the way...

About 4 weeks ago Matt, Sterling, and I were happy to find out that baby number 2 would be a girl. The name we have pretty much decided on is Gwenyth, Gwyneth, Gweneth... well the name is set just not the spelling yet and the middle name is still undecided. We are all pretty excited and happy to welcome this little jewel to our family in March!

Summer breeze drifting away....

Wow. This summer has come and is almost gone. I know I have neglected my blog due to lack of pictures but hey I thought it would be nice to update with something.

This summer has been quite eventful:

June:
I turned 25.
Sterling, Grandma Haas, Alicia, and I all went to Utah for a family reunion and more Utah/Idaho fun.

July:
Watched Fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa Caress' house.
Went swimming over at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Found out some exciting news on a personal note.
Sterling and I have been frequenting the gym.

August:
Got a new role at work.
More working out at the gym...

Oh and it's nice to be at home and just be a mom... fixing meals, playing outside, singing songs, doing laundry. That's fine living. =)

SKI week happenings...

Ski week was, yet again, another fabulous vacation to just be a mom, have fun, and get stuff done.

Some of the week's festivities included:

  • Working out at the gym and walking ( 5 days!!)
  • Playing at a couple different parks... and Sterling can now climb up the stairs and go down the slide all by himself!
  • Made mud in the backyard Sterling was soak head to toe with water and muddy on his lower half. (probably one of my favorite things of the whole week).
  • Went on a shopping adventure to Cabazon with my mom, niece Alicia, and stud Sterling...thanks mom.
  • Visited Matt at the Street fair... I won tickets to a car show off the radio but decided to hang out with Matt, Auntie Kym, and Ster boy for most of the day. Oh and had yummy lunch with my Mom and Dad.

All in all it was a super week. It makes me look forward even more to the summer. Swimming pool here we come... even if it is a blow up=) !

One lovely Valentine's Day

I can't believe this is Matt and my 5th Valentine's together.
1st year Kobe's and Disneyland (all in one day mind you, and it was one of our first realish dates)

2nd year it was Arnold Palmers (putting was fun)

3rd My year to plan ( we take turns every other year) Tommy Bahama's and a night of island inspired loveliness

4th Matt's year with the Falls (and our dinner guests included Kym and Chris)

5th and finally this year was A day filled with flowers and love.
-I got flowers from my dad sent to my work... a beautiful orchid
-Matt came into work and brought a dozen red roses.
-Then later in the evening, with the kindness of my mom to watch Sterling for an hour, Matt and I enjoyed a lovely sit-down-by-ourselves dinner at one of my favorite food purveyors... In-n-Out. It was great. I got a cheeseburger animal style, chocolate shake, fries, and matt had two cheeseburger (spread only), fries and a drink. It was a fun date... then we bopped around Fresh & Easy to find some scrumptous desserts. I had a chocolate lava cake and Matt had chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream by Ben and Jerry's.
And the rest of the night... well that's just not appropriate to say on the blog but that was great too!
I hope everyone else had a super Valentine's Day.

Winter fun at the Living Desert. I think this is from Winter break. Sterling, Grandma Haas, and I went on a desert adventure by playing with goats, seeing butterflies, playing on spider webs, and of course checking out those big 'ol giraffes. We stayed for a couple hours and had a blast and Sterling's favorite part was the gecko gulch ( by far).

Spider Ster Spider Ster... does what ever a Spider Ster does!
