La Quinta Park Fun

mmm, mmm, good.

Sterling just "hanging out" with his cousin.

Sterling is one lucky boy. While I work part-time this year Sterling gets to play with Grandma Caress Monday-Thursday and on Fridays he gets to spend time with Grandma Haas. A couple weeks ago, I went to pick up Sterling and convinced my mom that we should take the kids (Sterling and his cousin Alicia) to the park at the bottom of the La Quinta cove. It was fun... Sterling tried to eat the wood chips (they are high in fiber) and Alicia ran around and around and around. Both kids had nice rosey cheeks after all was said and none. I think it is so nice that Sterling has so many cousins that love him, that he loves, and that are so close to him.

...Well I turned my back and...

Who knew Pringles could be this Fun!

I know it sounds a little cliche but I really did have my back turned and then he got into everything... Recently in the past week, Sterling has enter now into his little explorer phase. He is into everything, taking everything out of its proper place, and climbing on everything. Oh, and he is now an almost full-time walker. He walks, climbs, and finds! But I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm glad he's a manly little boy.

Random Fun Pics...

These are just a few pics I liked from the past couple weeks. Sterling and I went for a lot of walks a couple weeks back and it just reinforced the fact that he looooves being outside. The other pics are of Sterling assisting head chef Auntie Kym. Not only does he love his Auntie Kym he loves being and helping out in the kitchen...maybe he will be the next chef Ramsey or Wolfgang Puck...hopefully the later.

October Conference

Sterling said he needed a little pick me up... YEAH RIGHT. Anyone who knows me knows how I feel about soda.

Our October Conference was spent infornt of the t.v. at my parents house this year. It was a nice set up Sterling played and Matt and I tried to watch. By the way ... wasen't Sister Beck's talk amazing!

Sunday Dinner Comes Home

Almost every Sunday evening, our little family ends up at the home of one of the Caress Families. We have a little rotation going. The last Sunday in September ( I think) led the family to our new casa. The menu consisted of: Homemade chili, yummy corn bread muffins, and cute little chocolate cup cakes (thanks to Kym). We ate, Monterey slept and everyone eventually ended up outside for races and a rousing game of Red Rover.

Matt with some of the cuties.

More family just chatting... ...Send Chrissy Poo right over!
